Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology (TIB) - Vinodh Ilangovan
In the meeting the TIB presented and demonstrated the Open Research Knowledge Graph (ORKG) and ORKG Ask which is a scientific search engine powered by Vector Search, Large Language Models and Knowledge Graphs as well as their recently launched TIB-AIssistant, an agentic AI assistant for research.
The ORKG makes scientific knowledge human- and machine-actionable and thus enables completely new ways of machine assistance. This will help researchers find relevant contributions to their field and create state-of-the-art comparisons and reviews. With the ORKG, scientists can explore knowledge in entirely new ways and share results even across different disciplines.
ORKG Ask is an advanced search system designed to help you find and extract valuable information from a vast corpus of research articles. Ask is an open-source scholarly search and exploration system supported by Artificial Intelligence (AI), making it possible to find relevant articles across more than 75 million items.
The TIB AIssistant is a platform that provides AI support throughout the entire research life cycle. You can use the various assistants sequentially—from Ideation to Review—or access each assistant individually. The TIB AIssistant is an early prototype of our vision for a research assistant that supports researchers while keeping them fully in control of their work.
