NETWORK MEETING - SUMMARY

The networking meeting of the 11th of March was on the theme of 'FAIR for everyone - ease of use in adopting FAIR'.

SENSCIENCE (Sean Hill) presented and demonstrated their recently launched  FAIR² (‘FAIR Squared’); a revolutionary platform for data curation and publishing. FAIR Squared, launched by Frontiers and SENSCIENCE, simplifies FAIR data management by assisting people in ensuring datasets are AI-ready, reusable, and citable. The initiative integrates interactive portals, automation tools like Clara, and FAIR standards to enhance data accessibility and machine-learning compatibility.

4Medbox (Sander van Boom), FAIR Solutions (Wouter Franke), the GO FAIR Foundation (Erik Schultes) and LIFES (Arie Baak) presented the status of the StationTalk library; a LIFES initiative for establishing a reusable template library for machine actionable communication with FAIR-enabled Data Stations. The Station Talk Library provides a structured framework for creating machine-actionable templates that define how FAIR-enabled data stations and external services communicate. By layering ontologies, assertions, processes, and deployments, it enables reusable, policy-driven data interactions across real-world domains like healthcare and consent management.
